After only a few months of operation, we already witnessed scammers impersonating FUND THE PLANET, selling tokens on Opensea that look like the real Rainforest Tokens.
Please be aware that:
- Our official website is www.fundtheplanet.net. Beware of websites that have very similar spelling!
- Currently, the only way to purchase Rainforest Tokens is via OpenSea https://opensea.io/collection/rainforesttokens
- Our official Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Discord accounts are reachable via our website. We don’t have a blue checkmark – yet, so be extra careful with look-alikes.
- We will never ask you to send money to any address for any reason. If someone asks you to do this, they are trying to scam you and should be ignored.
- We do not employ any sales agents that pro-actively chat you up with any type of private message platforms or on social media.
- We do NOT offer an iOS / Android app.
- You should always be suspicious if a merchant asks you on Whatsapp, Telegram or other not-so-formal platforms for payment
How can YOU make sure something like this doesn’t happen to you? Remember:
- You can only purchase from us through OpenSea, from the official “Rainforest Tokens” collection https://opensea.io/collection/rainforesttokens
- We would never ask you to send us any coins or payment via any other platform.
- Always check if it’s the right spelling, the right letters, and in the right order!
- FUND THE PLANET does not have any “agents” on any social media platform or chat application! The exception is Discord, where you can see the validated accounts of our staff – but we will NEVER approach you to buy anything.
- The only official way to contact us is via EMAIL ADDRESS, or filling out the contact form on our website.
- If we have any job listings, they will be hosted only on fundtheplanet.net
- We list all our official Social Media channels on our website. Be careful with fake accounts that look similar to us!
